Wilderness Trips

Hi! I’m Qasim, I’m one of the trip staff this year I’m 23 and from Edinburgh, Scotland.

When I’m not up a mountain or in a tent I study medicine at the University of Glasgow. I’ve climbed mountains in 3 continents (4 this summer), solo; with friends; on university trips; with the British Army and soon with all the awesome campers at Adirondack.

I spend my time off trying to bag Munros (Scottish Mountains), rock climbing and teaching wilderness and mountain first aid.

This is my first summer at Adirondack and I’m looking forwards to going on lots of adventures over the summer and making sure campers get to go out and tackle challenges they never thought they could. (Hopefully learning a few new skills along the way!)
