Hi everyone! My name is Sai, and I am 19 years old. I grew up on the Upper West Side in Manhattan but recently moved up to Westchester. I will be completing my first year at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. I plan on majoring in Psychology. Additionally, I am a part of the Ski team, EMT Club and I am an intramural sports ref.

In my free time, I love watching movies and TV. But I love being outside as well. I used to be a ski instructor at Windham Mountain, but I also snowboarded. I also love going on long walks and listening to crime podcasts. I was able to go to the UK in January for the first time! I loved the buzz of the city as well as the quiet of the countryside.

This will be my 9th summer at ADK; I started as a camper when I was nine years old! Some of my favorite memories are from camp and some of my closest friends. I will be returning to the windsurf team at the prettiest spot at camp, senior point. I actually learned how to windsurf at camp. It took me a couple of summers to learn to love it, but now I just can’t get enough. As a camper, I filled my schedule with water sports because of the calm and excitement I felt while being on the lake. I love Adirondack camp for many reasons, but my favorite is the feeling of community that blossoms everywhere you turn. Friends and staff encourage you to try new things, and you find yourself doing the same for other people. I hope to help campers take advantage of everything camp has to offer because it truly is a place like no other. Counting down the days!
