Waterfront Director

As Waterfront Director for Adirondack Camp, I have the best job in the world. Our waterfront is like none other and being able to support our staff in making your child’s experience on Lake George unforgettable is something in which I take great pride. I began my career at ADK as Head Windsurfing Instructor from 1998-2001. I returned to camp in 2007 and this summer will be my 16th year as Waterfront Director.

When not at camp, I work as an instructional coach for teachers and administrators at Holland Public Schools in Holland, Michigan. I am passionate about spending time outdoors and on the water. I grew up immersed in Lake Michigan; sailing, windsurfing, water skiing and fishing. I was fortunate to have parents who encouraged me to try new things and push myself to become confident and competent on the water. My role at Adirondack Camp allows me to facilitate similar experiences for our campers. My wife, Abby, who is also a teacher, and our four boys come to camp with me for the summer.
