Sailing

Hi everyone! My name is Charlotte, I am 18 and will graduate high school in June! Next year I will be attending St Andrews University in Scotland where I will be studying International Relations and Social Anthropology. I live in Lexington Massachusetts and have grown up spending my summers on the peninsula since I was 9.

My favorite part of camp is how easy it is to live in the moment and make lifelong memories. This will be my eighth summer but my first year as staff, and I will be a sailing instructor. I learned how to sail at camp and when I was a ranger camper, I optimized my sailing and did 4 periods of sailing, it’s my favorite thing everrr! I have just recently joined a sailing race team and cannot wait to sail everyday this summer.

Along with sailing, I play on my high school varsity soccer team and when I was younger I played every sport under the moon. I love creative things as well such as photography, videography and drawing. I love to adventure (given my choice for university) and I cannot wait to meet new people and see old friends. Camp is a special place to me and I hope I can make it just as special for my campers as my counselors did for me.
