Hi Everyone!!! My name is Joe, and I’m 20 years old. I’m from Exeter, in the southwest of England. At college, I studied outdoor education for a year before I started an apprenticeship at an outdoor center on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.

A quick fact about myself: In 2022, I spent a month in Uganda helping deliver mattresses and mosquito nets to two communities near Kampala. We also got to take part in some fun activities such as kayaking and rafting the Nile river, a safari in Murchison National Park, and also played in a local football match!!! I was also very lucky that last year, I was able to travel coast to coast in the US, exploring new cities and national parks with friends from camp. I plan to keep traveling the world and tick as many countries off as I can. When I’m not busy, I try to play football (soccer) whenever possible. If I’m not playing, then I’ll be out somewhere watching it.

This will be my second year at ADK. Last year, I was lucky enough to be on the kayak staff, but this year, I wanted to change it up and become on the athletic staff. I can’t wait to meet everyone!!!!!!
