Ciaran
Tralee, Ireland
Assistant Head of Landsports
Hey Everyone,
My Name is Ciaran, and I am 26 years old. I was born In Connecticut but moved to Ireland when I was two. I have spent my entire life playing some sports of some kind. Ranging from Gaelic Football (a National sport in Ireland) at the age of 4 to Basketball and soccer, and even represented Ireland in American Football against an American Team ( we got destroyed, but it was a lot of fun)
I spent quite a bit of time traveling, from weekends in Belgium or Amsterdam to weeks in Bulgaria, and even worked in Barcelona for six months as a teaching Assistant. I lived in the US for three years before heading back to Ireland for the last two. To say I am over the moon to be moving back here full-time is an Understatement.
I will be coming to Adirondack Camp for my fifth summer, this time as the Assistant Head of Land Sports, and I Can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to start! They say home is where the heart is, and I can tell you with 100% honesty that my heart has been in ADK since my first summer. I can’t wait to reconnect with old friends and make new ones along the way. I hope to help Campers also find that love for Camp. See you all soon.
