Hi everyone! My name is Eleanor (but everyone calls me Ellie), and I’m from Canberra, Australia. The capital city! (yep - not Sydney). And I’ll be one of your culinary fun instructors at Adirondack Camp this summer.

A bit about me: I’m 18 years old, graduated high school in 2024, and 2025 is my gap year ;) I knew I wanted a fun adventure in my time off, so I’m thrilled to be joining ADK for the first time this summer to find new friends, memories and experiences. Funnily enough, in Australia I work at a cafe making smoothies, milkshakes and juices, and also in after-school care. Perfect combo for my position at camp - cooking, and teaching kids! Cooking is one of my favourite ways to be creative, unwind, and connect with others, so I’m very excited to share some of my favourite Aussie recipes with you - and learn some new ones too. Get ready for fairy bread!

A fun fact about me is that I LOVE history, and after camp I’m planning on visiting Salem, Massachusetts to learn more about the witch trials. Spooky!
