Whether swimming the Big Triangle, rappelling down a cliff-face, or skippering a boat, campers are presented with meaningful ways to build confidence in their abilities. One unique aspect of Adirondack Camp is that campers get to select their preferences which help determine their weekly schedules based on their interests. They also have an opportunity to modify their schedule once they receive it. This autonomy gives them the freedom to pursue the activities that spark joy and helps them take responsibility of their time and interests. From diving into our expansive waterfront to exploring our many land sports or creative pursuits like culinary fun, and partaking in wacky adventure periods, kids have the independence to try new things, deepen existing passions, and experience a summer that feels uniquely theirs.
