“Hey there! I’m Alex. I’m 21 years old from the vibrant city of Newcastle upon Tyne, and I’m excited to join the trip staff at Adirondack for my first summer adventure. I study mechanical engineering at Northumbria University, but my true passion lies in the great outdoors. When I’m not buried in textbooks or tinkering with my car, you’ll often find me exploring the wilderness.

Oh, and here’s a fun fact about me: I drive a classic 30-year-old car! It’s got character, that’s for sure. This summer marks my debut at Adirondack, and I’m beyond excited to immerse myself in the natural beauty and thrilling adventures it offers as part of the trip staff. Although it’s my first time at Adirondack summer camp, I’m already drawn to its sense of community and the potential for making lifelong friendships amidst stunning landscapes. I can’t wait to lead trips, share my love for the outdoors with campers, and create unforgettable experiences together. My goal for this summer is to inspire others to embrace nature, step out of their comfort zones, and make memories that will last a lifetime.”
