Hi, my name is Daniel Kevin Dzuneka. Dzuneka means to be praised in Afrikaans. I am from South Africa, and I’m 22 years old.

I attended PTHS, which is Pretoria’s technical high school, and I majored in electrical engineering. It’s a great fit since I love fixing and building things. Although it wasn’t as easy as I first thought, I ended up enjoying it and realized that’s what I want to do.

I am always fascinated by the complexity of life, and I love discovering new cultures, people, and, well, basically anything. That’s why I’m so excited to spend the summer at ADK.

I have never been camping or taught at a camp, and I know it may hold some challenges, but I am ready to face them!! I enjoy things like skateboarding, quad biking in the woods, reading (mostly mangas), and watching anime.

I am so excited to join camp staff for the first time, and like The Rock said, I’m “ready to bring the Boom,” meaning passion, excitement, pure positive energy, and the African vibe.

I will be teaching sports activities like basketball and soccer, and I’m really looking forward to learning new things and meeting new people.
